Phasing in a brand-new uniform from September 2026

We will phase in a new uniform in September 2026, but families have until September 2029 before it becomes compulsory.

If your child already has a uniform, there is no need to replace it unless you choose to. This phased approach is designed to avoid creating additional costs for families.

New joiners to the Academy at all phases will be expected to purchase and wear the new Academy uniform.

The new uniform items are available for order on the Price & Buckland, ready for delivery from June onwards:

Full details of our Uniform Policy can be found here. We have created a uniform that is consistent across the entire school, ensuring that pupils can keep their same uniform (in general) as they progress from Year 6 into Year 7. 

This also ensures that our vision of ONE school is applied to the uniform; and that a John Wallis Church of England Academy pupil looks like a John Wallis Church of England Academy pupil whether they are in Year 2 or Year 10. 

For this reason, we are introducing a new charcoal grey John Wallis branded jumper. For children in the Primary phase this is a compulsory item and must be bought from our suppliers following the pre-order link above.
