This role is currently for three days a week, which are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays until the end of the 2024-25 academic year. However, there is potential for flexibility in working days after September 2025. There is also potential to extend the role to full-time for the right candidate. The position currently works with Upper KS2 and KS3, but this can be reviewed for the following academic year if the successful candidate would like to teach exam classes.

Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Salary: NLW

The John Wallis Church of England Academy are seeking an exam invigilator to support our Examinations Officer with all aspects of the conduct of examinations.

The role is part-time, with hours being focused during short intensive periods several times a year when examinations take place.

Training will be provided.

Duties include:

1. Ensure that the Academy complies with all the necessary regulations with regards to the conduct of examinations, to ensure that students receive appropriate accreditation and certification for their achievements.
2. Ensure practical and oral examinations are carried out by teachers in that subject area and that appropriate preparation of pupils has taken place according to examination rules.
3. Oversee the examination itself.
