Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is an additional grant provided by the UK government to state-funded schools in England. Its purpose is to address the educational challenges faced by disadvantaged pupils and improve their learning outcomes. This funding is allocated based on the number of pupils eligible for free school meals or other indicators of socio-economic disadvantage. Schools have autonomy in how they utilise the Pupil Premium, but are expected to focus on evidence-based interventions that demonstrably close the attainment gap between disadvantaged and more affluent pupils.

The document below outlines our strategic approach to utilising this funding to make the biggest impact for our pupils .
