Collective Worship

Collective Worship is at the heart of our life as a Church of England Academy.

Each day begins with an opportunity to pause, reflect and come together.

Through prayer, scripture, music, art, discussion and moments of stillness, pupils explore questions of faith, character, meaning and the world around them. Our worship is rooted in our Christian vision and gives pupils a rich experience of Christian faith and practice.

At the same time, The John Wallis Church of England Academy is a community of many backgrounds and beliefs. We want these moments to be thoughtful, welcoming and meaningful for everyone.

Collective Worship helps us return to the values we share and consider how we might live them out; in our learning, our relationships and our choices.
