At The John Wallis Church of England Academy, we want every pupil to discover interests, talents and experiences that make their world bigger. That might mean stepping onto a stage, representing the Academy in sport, joining a choir, debating an idea, learning a new skill or visiting somewhere they have never been before.
Our enrichment programme gives pupils opportunities to try things they already love — and things they never imagined they would.
Through clubs, trips, performances, competitions and experiences beyond the classroom, pupils develop confidence, resilience, creativity, leadership and teamwork. They make new friends. They take risks. They discover what excites them.
Our programme spans sport, music, performing arts, academic enrichment, creativity, faith, leadership, wellbeing and more, with activities ranging from football, netball and dance to debating, chess, choir, CCF and Youth Alpha. Because a full education should help young people discover not only what they are good at, but what they love.
